Inglot Palette

When I watched Lily's video about her inglot palette I knew I needed to get one. Straight away I googled where they have stores and was so excited when I saw there was one in Barcelona.

Inglot is a make up brand where they offer a freedom range where you can make your own palettes may it be eyeshadow, concealer, lipsticks blushers etc in a different range of sizes.
I chose the 5 eyeshadow pallete as I thought it would be brilliant to pop in my bag for when im away from home. I wanted the eyeshadows to cover all occasions. I chose Two matte shades, an all over neutral base, a warmer brown for a natural eye for the day, and then three pearl shimmer shades, a brown for a more natural smokey eye, a gorgeous shimmer green and a black for a more dramatic eye.

When your in the store they offer you a magnetic board for you to place the eyeshadows you love on, you can decide their order and see properly how they go together once in your palette. Once I was happy with the colours I had chosen the shop assistant showed me how to pop my colours into the palette once home.

I paid 26 Euros for my palette and all 5 eyeshadows, I believe it is £28 to make one in London's Westfield. Even so I think it is an absolute steal, as generally a good quality eyeshadow is usually about £10 or more. The eyeshadows are really pigmented, such good quality and go on lovely and smooth plus I have had no trouble with creasing or smudging. Also the palette it self is all magnetic so the lid just pops on so it seems much sturdier then other palettes I have tried and I think its a lovely design. I would highly recommend one to any beauty fanatic.

Have you ever tried Inglot Make up? Do you think you will be designing your own palette?

Barcelona 2012

The second half of out holiday we spent in Barcelona for 4 days. Our bus from the festival dropped us off at Barcelona Airport and then grabbed a taxi to our hotel the H10 Montecada.

My mum could not stress enough about how bad pick pocketing is in Barcelona, so this was my Anti-pick-pocketing device and i must say it worked very well as well as looking cute.

We were so lucky to have a gorgeous roof terrace at our hotel that had amazing views.

Day two we visited the Nou Camp. I was very dubious about going and worried about being bored but I did enjoy myself. I would recommend to a girl who's boyfriend is a big football fan like man, i promise you wont be bored and like me you could use it as a bargaining tool for more shopping time.

Shopping after Nou Camp in Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre where I found Inglot (Yay)

After shopping we spent an evening the wandering around the gothic quarter

Few cocktails in the heavy metal bar 'Bollocks'

The Next day we visited La Sagrada Familia, probably the number one attraction I would recommend to visit even if you are not religious in any way. The cathedral is mind-blowingly beautiful. I would also recommend getting the lift up to the top (I think it was an extra 3 Euros) for some amazing views and a little more of the cathedral you don't see from the outside.

I would love a drawer like this with all my jewellery in

On day four we visited the Jaume Cathedral as we were walking past it to visit the Ramblas food market, there we brought some lovely fresh fruit cups and juices to give us energy for the walk up to Parc Guell. Another Gaudi landmark with lots of usual buildings, again with lovely views and the bonus of it being free to visit.

As it was our last night in Barcelona we treated ourselves to a more expensive meal and enjoyed a few glasses of champagne and cocktails. Unfortunately as we were roaming so many side streets I am not 100% sure where the restaurant is to share with you guys, all i can remember is that it was at the lower half of the Ramblas and was in a large square amongst a few other restaurants.

As my boyfriend is a photographer he couldn't resist some night shots of the city from the roof terrace.

Have you ever been to Barcelona? Anywhere you recommend I should visit next time I go? If you have any questions about the city or travel etc don't be afraid to either comment below or tweet me on @L_loves24.
